today there were some scholarship/ university faculty booths in sajc. of course i grabbed the opportunity to squeeze as much information as i can out of them. first i talked to the woman representing ntu's humanities and social science (HASS) faculty. she was neither a teacher nor student of ntu, but a staff that is to publicise for ntu. i asked her about cca, mode of exams, and yes, there are interviews to get into ntu's HASS. i roughly learnt what sociolgy is about and what is the difference between majors and minors...
anyway,  i dont think i would want to go into ntu, i still prefer nus, ntu got the word nanyang, so chinkish!

next was the staff from MOE who was there to promote teaching scholarships. she is so nice to talk to! well maybe cos she seems to be more mature and down to earth (actually i got no idea what down to earth means! =.=)

after which i went to sas with timo lum to try out the japanese food stall which wasnt around when i was in sas. apparently on fri they only sell 3 dishes. the title of the dishes was "the meat in the meal " don. like for example: unagi don. but they dont sell unagi don if i rmb correctly. anyway i dont rmb the name of what i ate. at first i thought don was noodle, but it turned out to be rice, so i guess don means rice? mine was chicken don, and of course the name of the dish wasnt called chicken don. some complicated japanese word. it was served with rice, mashed potato (rice represents asia and potato represents west?), the thick brown sauce/gravy, and the chicken. there was also some seaweed condiments. the seaweed was nice. speaking of which, there is also 2 noodle stalls now and a new mixed rice stall. this means i have 2 more stalls to try! and i have to try them soon before school closes!
